🌿 What is Tamalpatra Churna?
Tamalpatra (Cinnamomum tamala), or Indian bay leaf, is an aromatic leaf commonly used in cooking, but in Ayurveda, it is also ground into a churna (powder) and used medicinally. It has a slightly bitter, pungent, and astringent taste, with warm and light qualities.
